i use this item in a unconventional way and that is as a cigar lighter. its perfect for that application. it last's the better part of 2 to 3 weeks. and is up the job of touching up my cigars as i smoke them. the other thing i like is that i have really good control of the unit and dont have to worry about burning my fingers or other issues. i've also used my old one for the last 5 years with no problems
